We purchase our solid hardwoods from a Yorkshire based company named English Timbers who supply us with top grade products- anything from durable Jatoba to traditional Oak- all milled at their site in East Yorkshire. We feel that their quality and accuracy is far superior.
For semi-solid boards, Karelia supply us direct from Finland. We consider them the world leaders in wood flooring for all domestic and commercial environments, including underfloor heating.
Finishing
We believe that by selecting the best brands we are able to achieve optimum results. These are the products that we use & recommend:
We only use Lagler, premier class sanding machines, which are renowned for 95% dust-free operation.
We finish the floors with Bonakemi stains and seals, the market leaders....
Aftercare
Our final step is to inform you of the maintenance schedule and give you your floor specification for future reference. We take the utmost care when finishing your floor, and recommend the use of branded maintenance products to continue the relationship. In the future, should you need remedial work, this will save time and subsequent costs by eliminating sanding back to bare wood.
